Manas Bhattacharya studied comparative literature and film in Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Currently, he is a final year student of cinematography in the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. For the past six years, he has been working as an independent cinematographer, shooting experimental films and documentaries. Manas is also an independent photographer, painter and composer.
